hroughout the residency, P79 may invite artists, curators, writers, researchers, residency directors, and other cultural practitioners to engage with residents through studio visits, presentations, conversations, critiques, and informal exchanges. Programs may take place in person or online.The program aims to foster dialogue, feedback, and connections across different fields and practices.

Liang-Jing Y. Zhu is an artist, poet, and critic. Zhu received a BFA in Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts in New York and holds an MA in Comparative Literature from University College London. Zhu is currently a PhD student in EALC (East Asian Languages and Civilizations) at Arizona State University.

Xianghan Cheng is a visual artist and painter. Cheng received a BFA in Fine Arts from the San Francisco Art Institute and an MFA in Fine Arts from the California Institute of the Arts. Cheng was a recipient of the 2023 Murphy and Cadogan Contemporary Art Award.

Liang Kegang is a conceptual artist, curator, and architect whose practice spans contemporary art, curatorial projects, and public art initiatives. In 2013, he curated Constancy in Flux: Eastern Experience and Contemporary Art, an official collateral exhibition of the 55th Venice Biennale.

Jianfang Shi, a distinguished artist, curator, and art critic, is the founder of SquareGallery (Shanghai), the principal of Time to Paint NYC (New York), the Chinese representative of Pantocrator Gallery (Barcelona), and the artistic director of Fanrong Art Museum (Suzhou)
